recall the curries being spicy enough and the soups being wonderful.  The menu items were pretty standard, but there was definitely enough on here that I haven't seen elsewhere to keep me interested...

Not bad at all for Thai in DC.  For $30 we got noodles (pad see ew), red curry, and satay.  The satay was not dry, a nice surprise!  And who doesn't love peanut sauce, whether it's with toast...

a few red pepper flakes, which is not only disappointing but doesn't really add the spicy, smoky complexity to the dish that I am craving.  My favorite entree here is the panang curry...

Green curry chicken: almost good, but lacked an X-factor. Something was missing.  Panang beef: beef was tender; sauce was too smoky - like it had liquid smoke; broccoli was fresh and well-cooked...

After leaving the CVS, I decided that I was too lazy to cook dinner, so I checked out the Po Siam Restaurant next door.    Not a bad choice, I must say.  I ordered the Massamun curry and vegetable...
